Here are some of the photos that I took from the Lady Gaga ArtRave in Seattle, Washington.
I got in line for this amazing show and saw all the wonderful Little Monsters all dolled up and had to run back to the hotel and grab my camera. WORTH IT.
My only regret was not being able to photograph more of the crowd! The show was astounding. She had cancelled her first show due to bronchitis and had totally made up for it in this performance.
A few things that made this show particularly special to me:
She played “Dope”.
Old songs, current songs, new songs.
SO MUCH CONFETTI!
She played “Dope” to her father who was in the crowd.
It was her father’s birthday, and we all sang happy birthday to him.
I danced all night long, with strangers and beautiful ladies that I will sadly never see again. It’s just part of the magic now. :)
After the show, Jimmy Johns sandwiches were being handed out outside of the arena. I asked for a whole box, and they said yes. So, I was givin’ like 70 sandwiches. My friends and I feasted, but I wanted others to enjoy, so I started giving them to everybody I could! It was awesome.
I hope that the people I photographed are able to find the photos I took as I think they look wonderful.
Lady Gaga did not disappoint and someday I hope to take her portrait.
I’ve previously announced that this year I am trying to step up my conceptual and cosplay photography. With that in mind I’m excited to announce a collaboration project that I am working on with a couple amazing individuals based on the popular manga and anime known as Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)! This shoot is going to both encompass the versatile talents of my friend RikkuGrape as the characters and the amazing talents of DSD FX Studios providing the fantastic body paint necessary for this shoot.
I have “big” ideas for this shoot and look forward to bringing this collaboration together!
We met up and did a trial run make-up test at the West Coast Haunters Convention in Portland. I took some photos of the awesome work done then, but be prepared for the results of the full shoot! This project will be knocking down walls all over the place!
What do you think about this project? We would love to hear!
Here is a recent photo I took. I really loved the game Killer7 when I owned it long ago. I knew that Piggynukka and I could do it justice when we were able to do the shoot and I feel like we succeeded. Looking forward to sharing the rest from this shoot!
